You do not need every detail ready.

Tell us how it is safe to contact you and whether a message can be left. You can start with a short description without putting a detailed account of traumatic events in the form.

Looking beyond the trafficker

18 U.S.C. § 1595 provides a civil remedy for trafficking survivors. When its requirements are met, it can reach certain people or businesses that benefited from a trafficking venture. Renting a room does not automatically establish a hotel’s liability; the facts and controlling law matter.

You do not have to investigate alone.

Tell counsel about records you already have, such as messages, dates, hotel names, or receipts. Do not contact a trafficker or return to an unsafe location to collect evidence. Incomplete records are a reason to discuss what is available.
